From Darlene: Wow - - what an awesome website! I thought I felt young, until now!!! I married my high school sweetheart, Robert Allison, Aldine HS Class of 1975. We have been married for 33 years and have two children - both graduates of Texas A&M, College Station. Chris (28) lives in Dallas and works as a Design Engineer for Atrium; Nick (24) lives in Houston and he works for Barrios/NASA on the Space Station. We are very proud of them. They're both single, so any single women out there??? I work for CSC Credit Services in their Corporate Legal dept. and have been there for 23 years. I received my Paralegal Studies degree recently, to help fill my "empty nest." Robert has his own automotive company, Allison Car Care, for the last 28 years. We live in Spring, Texas, and we have a "ranch" outside of Normangee, Texas, and we built a small cabin. We love to go there tto get away from the 'rat race' and enjoy the peace and quiet. I even learned to drive our tractor! We love to travel and plan to do more traveling now that it's just the two of us again! Best wishes to ALL!!!

From Gina: After graduating from Aldine, I immediately moved with my family to Brownsville, TX and started college at Pan American University Brownsville, now The University of Texas at Brownsville. After graduating with a degree in education, I met and married Carlos, a UT grad, who is a CPA, financial planner and partner in a local firm. I taught briefly, and then became a stay at home mom, staying busy with 4 children and numerous volunteer organizations. Our sons are now 25 and 23 with the same exact birthday 2 years apart! The oldest, Eric graduated from A&M and is working and living in Austin. Andrew is a graduate of St. Edwards University in Austin and is living in Orlando, Florida working for a production company called "Pink Sneakers". Our daughters, Alyse and Ariana are beautiful twin girls and attending St. Edwards University in Austin as well. As for me, I have been teaching Freshman English at my husband and children's alma mater and before that, I taught music at their private catholic elementary school. Since we are now empty nesters, I decided to advance my career and go to graduate school. I will be completing my degree in May of 2007 with a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. We enjoy spending time at South Padre Island during the summer and holidays and have taken up fishing and boating. I love entertaining and spending time with family and friends. Please let me know if any of you are down this way. Hope to see you at the reunion.

My twin sister, Karen Mooneyham Ward (who also graduated from Aldine) and her daughter and grandbaby live with me. I have a huge home and am happy to have it full again. My two children ages 23 and 26 have been married four years and the house has been too quiet. I do not have grandchildren yet. I can't wait until I do. I hear they are great.

We have lived on both coasts and in several midwest states. We have three daughters. Christine(21) is a Junior in college, Danielle(18)has graduated from high school this year, and Allison(12) will be in 7th grade. From Pamela: After graduating, I worked for Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation in downtown Houston. I worked there for
12-1/2 years as a secretary. After a reorganization of the company, I was laid off. I then got a job just across the street at Cooper Industries. I worked there for 5 years. During my 5th year at Cooper, I got pregnant with my 2nd child. My husband and I decided that Houston wasn't the best place in the world for raising children, so we packed up and moved to the country. Bremond, TX to be exact.
We have lived here for 12-1/2 years and have enjoyed every moment.
My husband Dennis and I have been married for 22-1/2 years. He has a daughter by a previous marriage Heidi who is 36 years old. We have 2 boys, Dennis, Jr. who is 21 years old and Brandon who is 12-1/2 years old. I have 2 grandchildren and 1 due to make his appearance this August.
After moving to Bremond, I started a preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. I ran that for 5 years. After leaving the preschool, I signed up to be a substitute teacher. In Bremond, we have a 1A school system. All 450+ students are housed in the same building. I sub for all levels, but enjoy middle and high school the best. The last 2 months of the school year, I started taking care of a student in the Special Education department. He is physically, mentally and visually impaired. I spend my entire day with him, taking care of all his needs. I hope to get on permanent this Fall doing the same job.
I have been involved in the scouting program for the past 5 years. I am the Scoutmaster of a small troop in Marlin, TX. I hope to produce several Eagle scouts soon!

From Leslie: Hello Everyone! I'm married to the same great guy since 1978. We have 4 grown kids. I lived in the Aldine/Spring area for many years, but now love living in rural East Texas where I can watch deer out my bedroom window in the mornings. I completed my B.B.A. in Business from Sam Houston State; I'm currently a public school teacher. I haven't been to any of the reunions, but have seen many of you over the years--even found a couple here in East Texas.

Occupation: Owner of Big T Trucking,
Inc.
Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 2
From Mike: I am married to Cindy (Martin - class of 1977) and we have two beautiful daughters, Carolyn age 15 and Lauren age 12. We have been married for 16 1/2 years. We live in Magnolia, Texas and have been there for 10 years.
After high school I attended Sam Houston State for two years and worked part time for Coke. In 1982 I left Coke and went into business with my dad at Big T Trucking hauling scrap metal. In June, 2004 we lost my mom and 6 months later my dad died. So now Cindy and I are the owners of Big T.
In October, 2005 I had to have my aorta valve replaced. When they got in to replace the valve, the doctors discovered I had a 7cm anuersym that was on the verge of bursting. It is truly by the grace of God that I am here today - for had the anuerysm burst it was so large they could not have saved me.
In March of 2006 we sold our home in Magnolia, packed everything we owned up in storage and headed to DisneyWorld for Spring Break. We are living in our RV while our new home is being constructed. Hopefully it will be done by mid September.

Occupation: Executive Secretary
Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 2
From Janice: A year after graduating I married my high school sweetheart, Robert Carter (Aldine Class of 74) and we have been married 29 years now. We have two beautiful children, Jason 28 and Kristy 25. Both went to Texas A & M University in College Station and both moved up to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the last couple of years after we did. We moved up here three years ago from Spring where we had lived since we were first married. Kristy is currently now going to University of Texas Arlington to earn her Masters in Finance, has been married two years and is a Regional Credit Manager in Fort Worth, TX. Jason and his wife are expecting their first child this September (our first grandchild, we can hardly wait!) and live in Mansfield, TX within walking distance to our daughter and son-in-laws home, and only 15 minutes away from us. Jason works for Robert in the family business and hopefully will take over up here so Robert can retire one of these years.
I ran our family business for 15 years, then started working at Smith International until we moved up to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Took a year break to be the contractor on building our new home and have been working as an Executive Secretary for a head hunting firm for the last two years.
We moved my parents up here with us from the Aldine area and they live in our "backyard" but in a different city! We have a gate between our yard and theirs with a common fence however they are in the city of Arlington and we are in the city of Kennedale. It's great to have them close by, especially when mother cooks dinner for us most of the time.
We have a Ski Nautique Custom Boat and live less than 5 minutes away from one lake and 15 minutes away from another so we spend a lot of time there. Our daughter was on the A & M water ski team, and our son and her husband are great on all the boards & skis as well. I play on a tennis team up here and that is the extent of my exercise. Every now and then I get to slalom behind the boat for a few minutes, but the kids normally hog the time. We also travel a lot, and always have. We normally take at least one big vacation each year along with several small ones and have been all over the world.
I still play the flute for our church choir every Sunday, Robert sings in the choir and we have become active in the Empty Nesters Group at our church over the last couple of years since we moved up here.
If you’re up this way, give us a call. I work from the home office several days a week, and have a very flexible schedule.
